Fort Whiting Restoration

The Fort Whiting Restoration project, recognized with an AIA Merit Design Award, entails the renovation and multiple additions to establish the first ‘Super Armory’ in the state of Alabama. Spanning 60,000 square feet of renovations and an 80,000 square foot harmonious addition, the completed cost of all phases of work totaled approximately $29,000,000. Executed over several years and in four distinct phases, the project included the development of a distinctive Special Forces facility alongside 6 Guard and Marine reserve units.
