We’re proud to announce the promotions of Nick Bishop and Cody Smith to Senior Associates!
Both Nick and Cody have consistently demonstrated leadership, innovation, and dedication to delivering Quality by Design across various projects throughout their time with SS&L. Their commitment to clients and communities makes them invaluable to our team, and we’re so excited to see the continued impact in their new roles.
Nick Bishop has been an integral part of Seay, Seay & Litchfield Architects since 2012, serving as both an Architect and Project Manager. He oversees all USPS projects for the firm while also playing a key role in training and mentoring the next generation of architects. While he takes pride in the successful projects he has managed, his greatest accomplishment is seeing the interns he has guided to become licensed architects. Beyond his professional work, Bishop is actively involved in the community as a member of the Kiwanis Club and supports local organizations such as Girls on the Run, Magic Moments and Child Protect alongside his wife, Kate.
Cody Smith’s role as a Project Manager is to develop projects from an idea to a built environment which includes leading the design team and consultants, managing client expectations and cultivating relationships with other industry leaders to ensure a successful project. He was recently honored with the Young Architect Award given by Alabama’s state chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). He is the board director for the Montgomery AIA Chapter and the Alabama Center for Architecture whose mission is to advance the enjoyment of architecture and design through engagement, education and collaboration.
