Thanks to the generous gift from Leo J. Drum, Jr., Huntingdon College found it possible to renovate the former Cloverdale School Auditorium into a beautiful spectacle to house all their theatrical productions. The theatre contains 246 state-of-the-art retractable seats designed for comfort and versatility. Seats may be stowed for other events at the push of a button. A glassed control room and sound system are housed inside this historic auditorium where treasured architectural details from the building’s original construction have been preserved. A beautiful lobby and ticket booth greet guests at the front door of the Cloverdale Administrative Building. Leo Drum, who passed away in January 2012, will be remembered in perpetuity because of this generous gift to the College, to the Cloverdale neighborhood, and to the Montgomery community. Lighting and sound were coordinated in conjunction with Special Event Lighting, Inc., consultants that SS&L have worked with many times.
