John Maloy Long Hall at Troy University stands as a remarkable state-of-the-art performing arts rehearsal facility that has been designed to cater to the diverse needs of musicians, dancers, and choral groups. With meticulous attention to detail, the project encompassed a 5,528 SF band rehearsal space, offering a variable acoustic environment, enhancing the sound quality as well as the versatility of performances. Additionally, a flexible 3,927 SF dance rehearsal and performance space provides a dedicated area for dancers to hone their craft. A 2,589 SF choral rehearsal space was also included, catering to the unique needs of vocal ensembles. The scope of work further incorporated faculty offices, sound-isolated practice rooms, and specialty storage areas, ensuring a comprehensive and functional facility. The neoclassical design seamlessly integrates into the campus context, serving as a visually appealing and harmonious addition to Troy University’s main campus.
