Five Rivers Delta Kayak Shelters

The Delta Kayak Shelters comprise two 450 SF land-based camping shelters featuring an ADA boardwalk and ADA kayak launch along the Bartram Canoe Trail in Spanish Fort, AL. Alongside the land-based shelters, two water-based shelters are situated in the Mobile Bay marsh. Elevated 6-7′ above the water, each shelter offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Constructed on wood pilings with IPE decking, the shelters are wrapped in Hardi siding and topped with a protective metal roof. Each structure is equipped with insect screening, a stainless-steel work surface, and a privacy enclosure area.
