The Century Church project in Pike Road, Alabama, is a large complex devoted to serving their mission of Loving God, following Jesus, and building community.
Phase 1 of the Century Church site development focuses on the Children’s Learning Court, a central gathering area for the Preschool and Children’s Ministry. This courtyard will also serve as a recreational space on weekdays and host outdoor events and concerts throughout the year. The Learning Cottages are a total of eight buildings situated to the east and west of the Children’s Learning Court. Each cottage houses two classrooms divided by restroom facilities, functioning as Preschool classrooms on weekdays and Sunday School classrooms on weekends. On the north side of the Learning Court, the Preschool Multi-Purpose building serves as Century Church’s temporary worship space, as well as an event space and indoor play area for the Preschool and Children’s Ministry. It includes both interior and exterior performance stages. The “Preschool Administrative Office” building is located on the south side of the Learning Court. This building includes the Preschool Director’s office, a staff break and supply room, and a secretary and children’s “sick room” space. It serves as the Preschool’s daily check-in/check-out hub and contains two baby daycare rooms.
The gymnasium is a multi-functional facility that serves as both a sanctuary for worship and a hub for community events. With is spacious interior and modern amenities, the gymnasium provides a versatile space where congregants can come together to strengthen their faith through physical activity and fellowship.
