Central Alabama Radiology Oncology – Prattville

The CARO Cancer Center encompasses the construction of a new 9,000 square foot facility, housing radiation oncology treatment, examination rooms, administrative offices, and support spaces. This expansion aims to broaden the spectrum of care and treatments offered previously in Montgomery and Selma to patients in Prattville, Millbrook, Clanton, and surrounding communities. A pivotal aspect of project success involved meticulous coordination of the technical and costly radiation equipment installation. Construction elements were carefully managed to precise tolerances to facilitate the correct installation of required equipment. Strategic long-term planning goals and early engagement with the equipment manufacturer were integral to the project’s success.
