The Center for Materials & Manufacturing Sciences Building at Troy University marks a significant milestone in the university’s expanding research capabilities. As the first facility of its kind on campus, it provides state-of-the-art research workspaces, offices, and laboratories, all designed to foster innovation and collaboration. The building’s two-story lobby, welcoming visitors from the western side, serves as a gateway to cutting-edge research, particularly in the new polymer research program in partnership with KW Plastics of Troy, Alabama. The design seamlessly integrates with Troy University’s iconic architectural aesthetic, creating a blend of tradition and innovation. Faculty working within this facility are directly engaged in industry-driven projects, enhancing both their research impact and professional growth.
