Air University Vision 2030 Charette

Vision 2030 is a comprehensive master plan for the modernization of both facilities and infrastructure at Air University, Maxwell Air Force Base, in order to optimize spatial resources and support contemporary teaching methods. The primary goals of the planning effort were to develop strategic plans for facility and infrastructure capital investments, strengthen the AU identity and brand, improve missing integration and execution, and enrich and expand the educational experience at the world’s premier professional military education center, Air University. The Vision 2030 effort supplements SS&L’s previous efforts in support of the Maxwell Installation Development Plan and AU Strategic Plan. Together Vision 2030, the Maxwell IDP, and the AU Strategic plan provide a comprehensive strategy for modernization and growth of both military education and warfighting missions at Maxwell AFB.
